Photography by Aliesha Ziegler | Red Deer, Alberta

Hi there!

My name is Aliesha and I am an avid Tolkien nerd who is passionate about adventures, animals, fitness, yoga, and – most of all – photography!  I grew up here in Red Deer and live in a fur-filled house with my husband, our cat – Kitty, and our two dogs – Suki & Zoe.  I try to spend as much time as possible out hiking in the mountains, which is where I’m the happiest.  I began my photography journey in hopes to find something that would help me cope with depression and anxiety, something I’ve dealt with my entire life, while it certainly isn’t a cure it has truly changed my life and altered my perspective.

During a shoot, I prefer to take a more documentary style approach.  I want my photos to show more than just what you look like, I want them to show that you lived and loved passionately.  I want you to look at your photos years from now and remember the way your child played with your hair, the way your spouse smirked when they teased you, or how they looked at you with so much love in their eyes.  I want to show the connection and love between your family and capture you as you truly are, with the people you love most.  Above all, I want my photos to be honest and bring you back to the moments that passed by too quickly.

I take a similar approach for businesses, instead of just showing what your business does, I want to capture what your business is ABOUT.  Who you are, what you value, why you created it and who you created it for!  Beautiful, crisp images can elevate your marketing campaign and really make your business stand out.  By using high-quality, original content that speaks to who you are – you can improve your website & social media presence, enhance your brand & brand awareness, and improve your marketing materials.

If you are looking for someone to capture meaningful and genuine moments between you & your loved ones, or someone to elevate your business’s visual presence,  please get in touch with me.
